Allergy apps hand you a table of numbers and leave the interpretation to you, usually while your eyes are itching.
I wrote the sentences first: what would a kind friend with a weather station tell you? The widgets were then designed around those sentences, with motion that shows the trend at a glance.
Pollen has been featured twice by the App Store and sits on 40,000 home screens. It is still free, and still the project strangers write to me about.
