Hybrid teams were booking office days by guesswork. People commuted for an hour to sit alone on video calls, and the tools that existed asked everyone to fill in a form no one opened.
I started from the calendar people already lived in and added one layer: who is in, where and when. The first version was a coded prototype running on real team data within a week, so every design review happened in the product rather than in a slide deck.
Halfday now runs in 140 teams. The week view became the home screen after testing showed it answered nine questions out of ten on its own, and the design system I built for it ships every new feature.
